Travel checklist

Here’s what I do before I go and travel.

• [ ] Make sure passports are packed and expiry is far enough in the future
• [ ] Checked in for the flight / train / whatever, I have the confirmation email or boarding pass downloaded, or maybe printed out if it’s required
• [ ] Pack medications
• [ ] Pocket soap and hand sanitizer
• [ ] Watch, fitbit, belt
• [ ] Contact lenses, electric toothbrush, spare toothbrush head, deodorant
• [ ] Chargers for laptop, fitbit, toothbrush
• [ ] Plug adaptors between UK and wherever I’m going and bathroom plug and wherever I’m going
• [ ] Clothes for +1 day
• [ ] Debit and credit cards, including specific ones (eg corporate card if travel is for work)
• [ ] portable battery and cables in carry-on
• [ ] headphones, make sure it's charged, make sure charge cable (usually usb) is with me
• [ ] other work related gadgets if needed (2fa hardware token, badge, whatever else you might have)
• [ ] other travel documentation, like global entry card
